To be eligible for admission to the Institute’s 1-year full-time Higher Certificate program, candidates must have completed the National Senior Certificate (Grade 12) or an equivalent qualification with endorsement, and obtained a minimum of 30% in English.

Applicants must provide proof of completion of Grade 12 or its equivalent. This can be submitted through the following documents: a National Senior Certificate (NSC), a National Certificate (Vocational) (NCV), a Senior Certificate with higher and/or standard grade subjects, or another equivalent school-leaving certificate that demonstrates the candidate meets the minimum admission requirements for a Higher Certificate (HC) program.
